From Small Beginnings Come Great Things...Including Families!

I can’t grow real plants. Ask my husband and he will tell you that even if the species needs little maintenance, it will die on my watch. I tell everyone that I have black thumbs. But I don't think that my ancestors will hold that against me and I hope they won't mind if I dig around in their dirt.

All kidding aside, I have been collecting information on the comings and goings of departed family for almost 30 years. In order to graft a lost loved one to the branches of the tree, a well-composted document or clue provides the rich mulch to help the new branch thrive and grow.  As this work progresses, I will post information on members of their respective branches.

While I plan regular updates, the effort will only be rewarded with patience and careful research.  It has been said that, “genealogy without documentation is mythology.”

We can count the seeds in an apple, but  we will never be able to count the apples in a seed.  Family history work is the productive medium that allows us to grow families that will endure forever.  May you find a seed to plant in your own grove and provide a seed to share.
